Move that Bus...

you can see sagen and slayde's names in the bottom corner

Sagen signing their names on the banner

You can see Emma Roberts in the white shirt, Leanne in pink

Ty running out.. this was the part where he yells we have the keys and they started loading furniture in the house.

A picture of the whole house.

Well this weekend we had fun at the Extreme Home Makeover site in Wellman, TX. They are making over the house of Jeanne and Johnny Mac Brown after they lost their daughter, Alex due to texting and driving. We were suppose to work on the house on Tuesday, but we had UIL so we went this weekend as spectators. We got to go to the VIP tent (thanks nana and opey!) where Sagen got to sign the banner that will be given to the family. On the bus ride back we talked to one of the designers and they asked us to come back last night and we could help hang blinds and curtains because they were short handed...but of course we couldn't find a sitter. shocker huh... It made me sad that we didn't get to help out...since it was a once and a lifetime opportunity, but thats the story of our life lol...We got to see Ty Pennington, Michael Moloney, LeAnne Touey, Emma Roberts, and Paige from a distance. It was really cool. I talked to the builders wife while we were in the tent...she was really nice. Check out our pictures. At the end Michael Moloney yelled out "is it always this windy???" and we all said yes! Then he said "God bless you people!"

Getting in the spirit...

Slayde's first time with santa. He didn't even cry! Wasn't quite sure about the beard...but was happy!

Santa was great letting me take a ton of pictures until I got one with them both looking!

Sagen and Santa...she chickened out last year!

The three of us by one of the pretty trees!

OK, I know its a bit early but Christmas is coming up soon! And what better way to get in the mood than seeing Santa? My mom use to take me and my sister to see Santa opening weekend at Holland Gardens every year...and I am going to try to continue that tradition with my kids. They couldn't believe all of the gorgeous Christmas trees! Sagen loved the pink barbie one. They both got to see Santa by themselves and then together. There really wasn't a long line...and I must say...their Santa really looked real (as opposed to the one in the mall!) We had a great day in Lubbock shopping and hanging out with Nana and aunt deb. Hope these pictures get you in the mood!

Halloween 2010

I must say...they are going to kill us when they are older! Tripp Roberts, Noah Phipps, and Slayde at the fall carnival.

Sagen bobbing for apples, she finally just used her hands!

Sagen wore her "flapper" dress to school for halloween. She told people she was a "flipper" haha

Didn't she make a beautiful Belle from Beauty and the Beast!

My little Giraffe! Check out those teeth!

Ready to go trick or treating! Even Marlee was in the middle of it!

Well we had a busy Halloween week! On Saturday we had the Fall Fling at our school. The kids had a ton of fun playing games and winning prizes. Sagen's Jessie pumpkin brought home a blue ribbon! Then on Wednesday we had our Fall Festival at our church. The kids had a blast bobbing for apples and running in the sack race! Slayde's other baby friends were there...they were all so cute! On Sunday we went trick or treating in Welch and then let Sagen hand out candy. She enjoyed that as much as getting candy! She didn't want to go to bed because she was certain there would be more trick or treaters...at 9:00 I convinced her that the trick or treaters had all gone to bed too!

Strippin' Cotton!

You can see Sagen on the ledge watching papaw strip cotton!

This was her standing beside one of the modules!

Papaw, Sagen, and Rusty

Rusty and Sagen went out to help Papaw with the harvest. Sagen loved riding the tractor and wants to go back to help "strip cotton" Can you believe how big the module is?!

Go Dragons!

It runs in the family...go dragons!

Watching Jessica, copying her every move!

Nana held Slayde at the pep rally so he could watch his big sis!

Last Friday we had "little cheer camp" at Dawson. Of course Sagen was all into that! She learned several cute cheers and a dance and performed at the pep rally and at half time of the New Home football game.
