4 month checkup and Cereal!

hmmm....maybe I don't like it!

Ignore the pink bumbo chair...I bought it at a garage sale and got a heck of a deal! Slayde will just be a sensitive boy...

Hey mom this isn't so bad!

Slayde had his four month doctor appointment on Thursday. He weighed 14 lbs 10 oz and was 25 inches long. Percentile wise here is how he lands: weight 50th percentils (I know thats a shock!), length 75th percentile, and head 60th percentile. So he is about average on everything! He got two shots :( Also, they told me I could start giving him cereal. Here are a few pics of the first try!

Cowboys!

Maryetta and Burt bought Jett a cowboy hat, but it didn't fit him so they gave it to Slayde. We tried it on him the other night and it fit perfect! Thought it was TOO cute!

Fun in GA!!

I thought this was a sweet picture!

Fun in the pool!

Nothing more fun than playing in the pool with your cousins!

Aunt Kimmie loves him!
Well we have had a pretty busy Summer so far. The day after school was out we packed up and headed to the airport. We flew into Atlanta to see all of my family. I must say that I had a lot of apprehensions about flying with two small children...but we managed just fine. Besides having to open up all 8 of Slayde's bottles (breast milk) in the airport for them to be screened to make sure I didn't hide explosives in his milk, everything went good. I even mastered pumping in the airport restrooms...not a fun task! After a long day we landed in Atlanta where my two aunts picked us up at the airport. Slayde screamed in the car for the majority of the hour ride to Macon, which was funny since my aunt that was driving was not use to a screaming baby. She kept telling me to just "take him out of that stupid carseat" lol. While in Georgia we bonded with family. It was their first time to see Slayde and they all loved him to peices! It rained almost everyday but we did manage to catch some rays at my aunt's pool. We enjoyed lots of good food (Krystal, newway hotdogs, pollys, and zaxbys) almost daily! Everyone enjoyed Sagen and had so much fun playing with her. My sister also went with her three kids and they had a slumber party one night at my aunt and uncle's house. They were so tired from swimming all day they didn't even fight going to bed! Rusty and Sagen went to their pond and went fishing one afternoon. Sagen caught 14 fish! She was very proud of herself! It was so hard to say goodbye after only a week...I love them all so much! Can't wait to see yall again!
