Back from Huntsville!!

Well we made it back ok! It was a fast but very fun trip. We left Wednesday at lunch and got back late friday night. We drove half way on Wedn. (to Dallas) and stayed the night. We took the kids to a fun activity place called Alley Kats. There we did Putt Putt, batting cages, bowling, and climbed the rock wall. The kids had a really good time. Thursday we got up early and drove the rest of the way to Huntsville. That night, we saw a movie and let the kids swim at the hotel. The kids competed Friday morning (state Ag. Mechanics) and placed 25th. They competed against schools from all over the state (even big schools!) We are really proud of how they did.

While the kids were judging Rusty and I went shopping. We went to Tractor Supply and found Sagen a pink retro tractor (Like the kind they had from the 50's) I know she is already super spoiled and didn't need another toy! They were left over from Christmas and were on sale for super cheap! She was so excited when we gave it to her. After the kids were done judging we headed home. They wanted to stop by Cabellas on the way home and we thought that it wouldn't be too far out of the way. Boy were we wrong! After over an hour of driving around looking for it we finally found it. The kids had a good time and I must admit, it was pretty interesting!

We got back around 11:00 Friday night and I had Junior High district tennis in Lamesa. Mom and dad just kept Sagen another day since Rusty and I were busy all day Saturday. My kids did really well at the tennis meet, I was impressed! Tennis was over around 4:00 and we finally got to see our daughter! We sure missed her. Sunday we had a lazy day after church and just hung out together...

Oh yeah..I almost forgot! Sometime while we were in Huntsville our air conditioner was hit by lightning! So no air conditioner all weekend. Hopefully they can get it replaced today. Keep your fingers crossed that we have a cool house this afternoon!

Sagen's first bus trip

Yesterday Sagen had another "first" in her life. We took her with us to a tennis match and she got to ride on a real school bus. It was absolutely amazing to her. Rusty drove the school bus and she thought that was even cooler. We took 16 kids to Brownfield for a tennis match and she sat in between Jordan and Brooke. She thought she was just as big and grown up as those other kids! We stopped at Town and Country to let the kids get a coke before we went to the courts and Sagen picked out some Skittles. She shared with all the kids on the bus. It was so sweet. Once we got to the courts, Nana picked her up and watched her while my kids played. She told Nana that "Daddy drove the school bus real good!" I never would have imagined that a school bus would cause such excitement, but when your three it must seem really cool.
Today Rusty and I are taking 4 kids to Huntsville for the State Ag Mechanics contest. I am really excited and looking forward to a break from the stress of everyday life, but I am going to miss Sagen. I will let you know when we get back how our trip went! Have a great week everyone and God bless!

Hoppy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter! Our first at the Second Baptist Church. Sagen hunted eggs 4 times! We had a church egg hunt on Saturday at Brother Rush's house. There were a ton of kids there. Sagen hunted eggs with her two cousins, Morghan and Kasen. On Easter morning the Easter bunny comes to our house and leaves special gifts and hides eggs throughout the den. Sagen had a blast finding the eggs. The Easter bunny left a princess golf set, a Tinkerbell costume, and a sand art kit. After church we had lunch at my mother's house. She had bought all of the girls matching dresses and Casen a pink polo shirt. They all looked really cute. After lunch the kids hunted eggs in mom and dad's back yard. I couldn't believe how fast they could find them all! About 4 oclock we went to Stanton to Rusty's aunt's house. There were hundreds of Easter eggs! Sagen had so much fun finding them with Jett, Jack, Arden, Lane, and Avery. She literally had about 4 baskets full of eggs! After we visited with his family we stopped by and saw Rusty's grandparents in Stanton. I think Big Daddy really enjoyed seeing everyone. I hope everyone else had a wonderful holiday! God Bless!

Brittney's Birthday

We had Brittney's birthday. It was so much fun! She had a hot pink peace sign birthday cake. It was very cute! She got so many cute clothes, Aunt Britni would love to borrow some of them! After being around all her cousins, Sagen can give you the peace sign and say "peace dude!" They are all growing up too fast!

Jackson's birthday

Jackson had a fun birthday party with all of the family. Of course the theme was baseball! Sagen got a baseball tattoo and wore it on her cheek. That night she wouldn't even let me wash it off! Jackson got a lot of baseball stuff and even a Texas Ranger jersey. I can't believe how big he is getting! I remember our wedding when he almost caught the church on fire! Haha! Seems like only yesterday!
