Houston Stockshow

Rusty, Sagen, and I went to Houston for the livestock show over Spring Break. We all had a really good time! Sagen loved the chickens and all the other animals. She couldn't get over the baby animals that they had there. We checked on the chicken eggs every day to see if we could see one hatching. They had someone dressed as a cow named "Miss Moo." Sagen talked to her every day and had her picture made with her. Around lunch time one day they had a dog trick show. All of the dogs were rescued strays and after the show you could take your picture with them for a small donation. Sagen felt so big holding the puppy named "Belle." They had all kinds of wonderful shopping. They had a booth set up where you could make your own lasso rope. You got to pick your own colors and then wind it to make the rope. Sagen of course picked yellow. She was so proud of her new rope and lassoed everything in sight! It was fun. On our way home from the stock show we stopped on the side of the road to take some pictures in the beautiful bluebonnets. It was such a fun trip, I can't wait for next year!
