sweet sister
Had to post this pic! The other day I was getting ready for one of the many banquets we had here at Dawson. Slayde was screaming and then all of a sudden stopped. I came running in the den to see what was wrong and found this. Sagen had somehow got in Slayde's play gym with him and they were both playing with the fish that were hanging down. it was too funny to not catch on camera!

Last t-ball game
Showing off her prize from her last t-ball game
Slayde watching his siter playing t-ball
Don't you just want to kiss those chubby cheeks!
Well this past week was pretty uneventful. We had our last tball game saturday morning. Sagen had Kamryn spend the night Friday night and they had a little slumber party. On Saturday Kamryn went to the game to watch Sagen and then they both went back with Nana and Opey. Kamryn went to Lubbock while Sagen stayed at my parents house. My parent's neighbor was having a garage sale and my dad kept giving Sagen quarters so she could go over and "shop." She came home with two large bags of stuffed animals. Just what we needed! Sunday after church we had Casen's 6th birthday party. It was lots of fun and the kids had a blast playing in Casen's tree house. Only 9 more school days left! Count down continues...

This was us on Mother's Day after church. It isn't very often that I get a picture with the kids~I'm usually the one taking the pics!
She was being silly showing me her new dress.
Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! We did. It was a very busy and stressful weekend. Rusty and I are the junior class sponsors and we had prom on Saturday night. We decorated all day on Friday (about 11 hours) and then went to prom Saturday night. I came home about midnight and Rusty came in about 3am. (He had to help clean up after prom). Sunday we slept in a little (missed Sunday school) but made it to big church. We were so tired we didn't get to see either of our mother's. Rusty had to be back at the school at 2 to help take down prom decorations. I napped with the kids. It was a nice day!

2 month check up
On Friday Slayde had his two month check up. (Even though he will be 3 months on the 9th) Here are his stats:
Weight: 12 lbs 5 oz (50th percentile)
Length 23.5 inches (65th percentile)
Head: don't remember, but it was 65th percentile
Slayde had to get three shots which made him cranky ALL weekend long! Also we mentioned to the doctor that we have been exclusively pumping and giving it to him in a bottle because it was so painful to nurse. She looked under his tongue and decided that that little thing that connects your tongue to the bottom of your mouth was too tight. She said she could clip it right there in the office. I was really hesitant but she said it could cause speech problems when he gets bigger. I had to go to the car but Rusty stayed while they performed the procedure. They held him down, lifted his tongue, and cut it with some little scissors. They didn't even numb it! Blood ran down his mouth but she said he would feel better real quick. Last night i looked under his tongue for the first time and it looked like he had a big ulcer under his tongue. I am sure that has added to his crabbiness. Besides the tongue problem he is doing great and thriving!
